Palmeiras was founded in August 1914, represented by the eight stars on the club's crest. According to the information gathered, 🤑 the eight stars make direct reference to the month of August, signifying the club's birthdate. Even though there are eight 🤑 stars, Palmeiras proudly displays a ninth red star on special occasions, symbolizing the Copa Rio de 1951 victory, considered the 🤑 first-ever club World Championship.

Once I found out about the significance of the eight stars to the fans of Palmeiras, these 🤑 eight stars began to feel more personal and meaningful. I had a burning desire to know how those stars impacted 🤑 the fan base and learn how the team interacted with their supporters.
