A Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to play online in Mario Golf: Super Rush. In Local Wireless and Online Play, each Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite system must own a copy of the Mario Golf: Super Rush game. During Local Wireless and Online Play, up to two players can play on each system.
In Local Play and Online Play with Friends, up to 3 players can play on each system. In a Global Game (Online Play with random players around the world), only 1 player can play on each system. A Nintendo Switch Online membership and a copy of the Mario Party Superstars game is required on each system to play online.
