Michael Myers, the fictional character from the "Halloween" film series, is often depicted wearing a mask, specifically a William Shatner mask painted white. The decision to keep his face hidden adds to the mystery and fear surrounding the character, enhancing the horror elements of the story.
Twelve films have followed since the 1978 original was released. Michael Myers is the antagonist in all of the entries with the exception of Halloween III: Season of the Witch, a story with no direct connection to any other film in the series.
