The Copa del Rey, or King's Cup, is the domestic cup competition in Spanish football the equivalent of the English FA Cup, or the Coppa Italia or Germany's DFB-Pokal.
La Liga is the Spanish top division. Copa Del Rey is the major domestic cup competition in Spain. Copa del Rey is a knockout competition whilst La Liga is a league where the number of points a team earns decides the winner.
