If you've got a budget gaming laptop, you should still be able to run the game, but it won't look nearly as nice. If you have a laptop or desktop without a discrete graphics card from Nvidia or AMD, there's no chance.
Despite this universal truth, MW2 can be a toughie on older PC hardware: even graphics cards listed among the recommended system requestions need quality cuts to get a stable 60fps at 1080p.
