As an example, let's use a Yankees-Red Sox game with a total of 10.5 and odds (or juice ) of -120 to the Over and +100 to the Under. If you place aR$100 bet on Over 10.5, you stand to collectR$183.33 (originalR$100 bet, plusR$83.33 in winnings).
This means that if both teams score 9 or more combined runs the result counts as Over. If less than 9 runs are scored, the result counts as Under. With odds of -110, you have to betR$110 on either team to winR$100 in profit. In this case, the payout (odds) for both the Over (O) and the Under (U) is the same: -110.
